Meta planning multi-billion-dollar AI data centre

Meta Platforms, a US-based technology giant and owner of social media sites Facebook and Instagram, is planning another multi-billion-dollar artificial intelligence (AI) data centre in the US South, according to sources.

UPDATE: On 5 December, Meta confirmed three construction companies 鈥� DPR Construction, Mortenson and Turner 鈥� have won a contract to build a $10 billion data centre campus for Meta in Louisiana, USA.
