As 2025 dawns, the construction industry in Europe is already gearing up for the region鈥檚 biggest trade show, Bauma, in Munich, Germany.
But there are plenty of other shows and conferences taking place this year around the globe, whether they are showcasing the latest construction machinery, offering a glimpse of the future of concrete and asphalt, or revealing the latest advancements in digital technology.
We鈥檝e compiled a list of 28 of the biggest trade shows and conferences in the coming 12 months, to help you plan out your year.

Dates: 7-10 January
Location: Las Vegas, USA
Traditionally a technology show, CES has become an increasingly important shop window for some of the world鈥檚 biggest construction equipment manufacturers to demonstrate just how sophisticated their own products have become. Representatives of over 300 Fortune 500 companies and people and businesses from 160 different countries are expected to attend.
Dates: 20-23 January
Location: Las Vegas Convention Centre, USA
The annual World of Concrete in Las Vegas is an international trade show dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry industries. It offers both indoor and outdoor exhibits showing off the latest products, machinery and technology. There鈥檚 also an extensive education programme offering workshops and training, as well as a host of spectator events like the Scaffold Builders Competition 2025 and the MCCA鈥檚 Masonry Skills Challenge.

Dates: 13-17 January
Location: Trade Fair Center Messe M眉nchen. Munich, Germany
BAU is a biennial trade fair aimed at the international community for planning, building and designing buildings. Visitors, including architects, planners, the building trades, investors, and representatives of the industrial and commercial sectors, can find out about how to put the latest techniques, materials and applications into practice.
Dates: 19-21 February
Location: Henry B. Gonz谩lez Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas, USA
The International Roofing Expo (IRE) claims to be the largest roofing and exteriors event in North America. Roofing contractors attend to find insights into new products and equipment, as well as education and networking opportunities.
Dates: 15-18 February (first week), and 24-27 February (second week)
Location: ROSHN Front, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Construction activity in Saudi Arabia continues to boom thanks to a slew of megaprojects and Big 5 Construct Saudi promises to unite industry leaders, innovations and specialized sectors across key sectors of the built environment. The event has an unusual two-week format, the first of which concentrates on design and build and the second of which is dedicated to fit-out and services.

Location: Javits Centre, New York, USA
Officially supported by the State of New York, New York Build Expo is a major construction and design show that claims to attract more than 40,000 general contractors, architects, engineers, owners, developers and government representatives. It will host 500 speakers across 14 separate conference tracks covering areas like tall buildings and skyscrapers, international business, and AI and digital construction.
Dates: 25-27 March
Location: Oregon Convention Center, Portland, Oregon, USA
The International Mass Timber Conference brings together the entire industry supply chain in what it claims is the largest gathering of mass timber experts in the world. The event explores cross-laminated timber, nail-laminated timber, glulam, mass plywood panels and other mass timber products and looks at the opportunities and obstacles in design, construction and manufacturing. A total of around 3,000 attendees and 190 exhibitors are expected at the event.

Location: Dublin, Ireland
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) will hold its annual summit in Ireland this year. Created and organized jointly by IPAF and Access International, the events are an opportunity to gain knowledge from key access leaders, network face-to-face with industry friends, and celebrate with peers.
Dates: 4-6 March
Location: Excel, London
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, London鈥檚 Futurebuild showcases the latest products, solutions and insights to help construction companies achieve their sustainability goals. Last year鈥檚 event attracted over 18,000 visitors, 257 exhibitors and 550 speakers.
Dates: 25-27 March
Location: America鈥檚 Center Convention Complex, St Louis, Missouri, USA
World of Asphalt is set to welcome public works and industry leaders from over 60 countries to discuss and test the latest innovations in all things asphalt.
Dates: 7-13 April
Location: Messe M眉nchen, Munich, Germany
Arguably the world鈥檚 largest construction-themed show in 2025, the 34th edition of Germany鈥檚 Bauma is fully booked, with exhibitors on a waiting list. This year鈥檚 show is expected to be on a par in size with 2019, when 620,000 people attended from over 200 countries.

Location: S茫o Paulo Expo, Brazil
The Feicon trade show in Brazil is for the civil engineering and architecture sector in Latin America. More than 1,000 brands will exhibit in four sectors: finishings, structure, installations and external.
Dates: 7-10 April
Location: The Bellagio, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Organised by the Modular Building Institute, over 1,500 attendees will interact with over 225 exhibitors representing 20 countries. It will also feature the MBI鈥檚 annual Awards of Distinction for the world鈥檚 best modular projects.
Dates: 7-9 May (London鈥檚 ExCeL) and 30 September 鈥� 2 October (NEC, Birmingham, UK)
UK Construction Week is actually two separate three-day events in London and Birmingham. It caters to the entire construction supply chain and in addition to exhibitors showing off the latest products, it features international pavilions, and talks from industry and government leaders.
Dates: 16-18 May
Location: Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek, Australia
Claiming to be Australia鈥檚 largest construction show, the National Diesel, Dirt and Turf Expo had around 70,000 visitors and over 200 exhibitors at its 2022 show. This year鈥檚 event, at the Sydney Dragway, already has around 120 exhibitors signed up.
Dates: 27-30 May
Location: Crocus Expo, Moscow, Russia
Likely to be shunned by many western exhibitors and visitors, the 25th CTT Expo in Moscow expects over 1,000 exhibitors from seven countries, with two national pavilions hosted by Turkey and China. Around 70,000 visitors will mostly come from the Russian Federation.
Dates: 4-5 June
Location: Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin, Ireland
Europe鈥檚 equipment rental association meets to discuss rental鈥檚 part in the circular economy and decarbonisation, and more key issues affecting the sector. Held during the ERA convention, are the European Rental Awards, organised by 必赢体育 Group. These are the most prestigious awards in the industry, celebrating the creativity and innovation in the sector.

Dates: 3-4 June
Location: Cardo Roma, Rome, Italy
International Tower Cranes (ITC) will bring the industry together to network and discuss important topics including safety, product innovation, crane productivity and site planning.
Dates: 15-16 July
Location: Auckland Showgrounds, New Zealand
New Zealand鈥檚 largest trade-only exhibition for people who design, construct and manage the country鈥檚 buildings and facilities.
Dates: 23-25 September
Location: Newark Showground, UK
Major UK construction equipment show Plantworx welcomed over 10,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors when it was last held in 2023. The 2025 show promises to bring machinery and innovation to life through live demonstrations and innovative displays.
Dates: 10-11 September
Location: Newark Showground, UK
This UK-based show gives exhibitors the opportunity to show off the latest launches from the top crane, aerial lift, and telehandler manufacturers.

Location: Kortrijk Expo, Belgium
The 41st edition of Matexpo in Belgium offers an overview of the latest developments in construction machinery, materials and vehicles.
Dates: 25-27 September
Location: Piacenza, Italy
GIS is the biggest European event dedicated to the users of cranes, mobile cranes, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, forklift trucks, industrial handling equipment and heavy transport vehicles.

Location: Shanghai, China
Now in its fifth year, APEX Asia has become the essential destination for buyers, users, and innovators in the access equipment industry.
Dates: 18-19 November

The key event for the European and global crane and specialised transport industry, where industry leaders come to network, learn, and share best practices.

The annual gathering of construction equipment manufacturing executives to examine what is ahead for their organisation and the wider industry.

A total of more than 85,000 people and nearly 3,000 exhibitors are expected to descend on the Dubai World Trade Centre for Big 5 Global, a major construction industry event for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.

Location: Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BEIC), Bengaluru, India
Billed as the largest construction equipment exhibition in South Asia, Excon 2025 comes as the Indian government is pouring billions of dollars into the country鈥檚 infrastructure.
