China State Construction (CSCEC) has completed a raft slab concrete pour for the Safa Two project in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

The operation to pour concrete for the slab of the building, which will stand 336.75m tall, required around 14,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement and over 25,000 cubic metres of concrete.

The building, for real estate developer DAMAC Properties, will sit in Dubai鈥檚 Business Bay district.

Branding for the building has been designed by Swiss jewellery firm De Grisogono and will have a scarlet theme running throughout the building. It will also feature a 鈥榝og forest鈥 at the vrown of the tower with a manmade fog swirling around vegetation and illuminated with lasers.

Construction is due for completion in 2027.
