Aecom and Rejlers win contract on one of Sweden鈥檚 鈥榤ost important infrastructure investments鈥�

Engineering consultants Rejlers and Aecom have won a contract from the Swedish Transport Administration to develop the North Bothnia Line. The collaboration involves creating railway plans and public road designs within Pite氓 Municipality, both north and south of the Pite氓 urban area in Sweden.

The North Bothnia Line will span 270 kilometres, connecting Ume氓 and Lule氓. The project aims to enhance transportation efficiency and sustainability while supporting urban development and improving the competitiveness of businesses throughout Sweden.
As part of their responsibilities, Rejlers and Aecom will produce line studies, develop railway plans that include environmental impact assessments, and manage essential permits and preparations for future construction.
