Contractor appointed to build section of Poland鈥檚 new 87km-long expressway

Spain-based infrastructure company Acciona has won a deal to build a section of the new S8 expressway between Wroc艂aw and K艂odzko.
Poland鈥檚 Directorate General for National Roads and Highways has awarded Acciona subsidiary Mostostal Warszawa the contract for the 7.9km section between Niemcza and Z膮bkowice 艢l膮skie.
The S8 highway between Wroc艂aw and K艂odzko, runs for a total of 87 km along the western fringe of the country. The contract is worth PLN 305.7 million (鈧�71.3 million).
Acciona has been present in Poland since 1999 through Mostostal Warszawa, one of the country鈥檚 largest construction companies, in which it holds a 62.13% stake.
