Photos: King Charles III visits JCB, tours Innovation Centre
King Charles III toured the JCB facility in Rocester, England, on 24 February, celebrating the company鈥檚 80th birthday and touring the facility Innovation Centre.

A major highlight of the tour was a stop by JCB鈥檚 prototype hydrogen internation combustion engine (ICE).
The UK-based OEM 鈥� one of the largest family owned firms of its type in the world 鈥� said, 鈥淗is Majesty was given an insight into JCB鈥檚 hydrogen technology by [JCB] chairman Anthony Bamford鈥� where he was shown one of the first JCB diggers to be powered by hydrogen 鈥� and how the machine can be refuelled simply and efficiently in a matter of minutes.鈥�
The company continued, 鈥淭he visit also helped to mark another milestone for JCB 鈥� the production of the one millionth JCB backhoe loader digger,鈥� which was announced earlier this month.
Bamford said of the visit, 鈥淚t is a real honour for us all that that The King has visited JCB to help us celebrate 80 years in business.
鈥淚t was also a great pleasure to show The King the progress we are making with hydrogen powered machines.鈥�
