The deal, spearheaded by Neom鈥檚 investment arm, the Neom Investment Fund (NIF), aims to accelerate the delivery of the region鈥檚 capital projects through the use of construction robotics.

Neom鈥檚 Design and Construction Sector, responsible for integrating the latest advancements in Construction 4.0 throughout Neom, is said to have been at the forefront of the partnership and the deployment of the technology across major projects.

Neom says that GMT Robotics will play a key role in localising the technology, with rebar cages manufactured in Neom-based factories. The collaboration will also create opportunities for Saudi engineers to further utilise robotics in other construction applications.
