According to OHSA, Adrian Construction Group 鈥 a carpentry and framing firm with roughly 20 employees 鈥 was inspected by the agency in July 2023. OHSA issued six 鈥榳illful violations鈥, which included lack of fall protection and failure to ensure use of eye protection, and four violations for unsafe scaffolds and failure to provide hard hats.
The total penalty proposed by OHSA is $1,017,248.
OHSA said it inspected Adrian Construction five times since 2016, and the company was cited each time for fall protection violations.
The company has been added to the agency鈥檚 鈥楽evere Violators Enforcement Program鈥.
Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health Doug Parker said, 鈥淧lacing them on the list of severe violators will intensify our scrutiny of their operations.鈥
