Bechtel is responsible for designing and delivering the solar component of the photovoltaic (PV) facility for this project. This includes engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management. 

The Escape Solar project will utilise approximately 389,000 PV solar panels spread across 900 acres. The facility is expected to generate clean energy for four major power customers in the region: MGM Resorts International, Overton Power District, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Las Vegas.

Bechtel says that the project will feature bifacial solar panel technology, which allows both sides of the panels to absorb sunlight.

The construction is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2025.
