Engine manufacturer Perkins has appointed new regional sales directors for the Americas and the EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East) region.

Following the retirement of Trevor Toulson, Richard Hemmings has been promoted to the position of EAME sales director.

He is responsible for sales to direct Electric Power (EP) OEMs and Perkins distributors in the EAME region.

Most recently, Richard was EP sales manager for the EAME region, where his achievements included a strengthening of relationships with Perkins鈥� large EP OEMs. Those stronger relationships resulted in closer collaboration and business growth, said Perkins.

鈥淩ichard is passionate about ensuring our customers thrive, and his customer-focused approach is key to our joint success,鈥� said Jaz Gill, Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing, Service and Parts at Perkins.

Gill added, 鈥淗e also has a proven ability to establish and articulate a clear direction with his teams and a focus on delivering results.鈥�

Meanwhile, Bill Giunta has been appointed Sales Director for the Americas, leading industrial engine sales execution for Perkins products within the Americas region.

Giunta, who recently served as the company鈥檚 product and technical support manager, will also work closely with Perkins distributors across the region to further the delivery of distribution excellence to all Perkins-powered customers, the company said.
