Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, the four-year project brings together a consortium of 20 European entities to address workforce training needs in response to digital and green transitions.

The initiative is supported by the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC), European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (EFBWW), and European Builders Confederation (EBC). It builds upon the progress made during the first phase of Construction Blueprint (2019鈥2023) by advancing training methodologies and fostering collaboration between businesses and training providers.

The project was officially launched during a kick-off meeting in Madrid on 11鈥12 February, hosted by Fundaci贸n Laboral de la Construcci贸n (FLC). Representatives from the industry, trade unions, training providers from 12 EU Member States, and the European Commission participated.

Over the next four years, Construction Blueprint 2 will focus on enhancing training methodologies to improve workforce skills while strengthening cooperation between businesses and education providers.

Stakeholders across Europe are encouraged to engage with the project and its forthcoming outputs, which seek to ensure a workforce prepared for future challenges in construction.
