Mace makes senior leadership appointments

UK-based Mace Group has appointed the former CBRE chief operating officer James Reeves to take on a newly created role focussing on urbanisation and climate change.

Reeves will lead Mace鈥檚 Cities & Places teams who are using emerging technologies and the concept of smart cities to build urban centres of the future.

Reeves, who will be based in the company鈥檚 New York office, will also support Mace teams in the Americas where the company is working on the Go Expansion Metrolinx programme in Toronto and the Hudson Tunnel Project in New York.

At the same time, Mace has appointed Oscar Caipo, a former senior partner in KPMG鈥檚 Peru operation as the company鈥檚 head of Latin America. Caipo will be based in Lima where Mace is working on projects to improve resilience after climate catastrophes.

Antonio Moreno is also joining the company as country lead for Spain and Matthew Fitch has been promoted to the role of country lead for the Philippines.

At the start of the year Mace promoted Jason Millett, the former CEO of Mace Consult to the role of Group Chief Executive. Davendra Dabasia has taken on Millett鈥檚 previous role.

鈥淲ith a growing headcount of well over 5,000 people and a revenue currently forecast to be around 拢700m (US$868 million) in 2024, Mace Consult continues to make significant progress against its targets and plans, focusing on delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and communities.鈥�

Last year Mace announced plans to double the scale of its global Consult business by 2030 to more than 拢1.2 billion (US$1.5 billion) in revenue.
