The TRK300 adds to the company鈥檚 existing Pegasus portfolio and is positioned as a lightweight solution suited to users with varying levels of experience.

The Pegasus TRK300 incorporates a dual-head, multi-beam laser scanner that captures high-resolution point cloud data from multiple angles, with a scanning range of up to 300 metres. The configuration is designed to reduce data gaps and improve efficiency, allowing operators to survey larger areas in less time without compromising accuracy. The resulting data outputs are intended to support a variety of applications, including asset mapping and urban modelling.

According to Leica Geosystems, the TRK300 is designed for ease of use, with a compact form factor that enables a single person to transport and mount the system to a vehicle.

鈥淭he Pegasus TRK300 opens exciting opportunities for any business looking to enhance and grow their mapping capabilities, from identifying potholes to optimising city centre traffic flows,鈥 says Christian Sch盲fer, business director of mobile mapping at Leica Geosystems. 鈥淏ecause it is lightweight and designed with the user in mind, a single person can easily transport it and mount it to a vehicle 鈥 delivering results with minimal effort.鈥

The system is also engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions, including rain and dust, and is equipped with a battery that supports up to seven hours of operation. This is intended to minimise downtime and support uninterrupted data collection across a full working day.

To streamline workflows, the Pegasus TRK300 integrates with Leica Pegasus FIELD for real-time data acquisition and system monitoring, and with Pegasus OFFICE for post-processing and deliverable creation. This integration is designed to simplify data management and improve compatibility across different project environments, whether users are mapping streetscapes, utilities, or built assets.

The Pegasus TRK300 is available immediately in selected countries.
