The space鈥檚 new inspection, mod, and repair workshops inside its technical buildings now include new lifting bridges and an overhead crane.

The company first sold forklifts to the European market starting in 1993. In 2006, the company moved to its present location.

鈥淒ue to the growth of the activities, the branch was expanded with a new building in 2014. Last year, it was decided to extend the lease of the location for nine years and to carry out a major renovation and modernisation of the buildings,鈥� said Doosan Bobcat.

Included in construction was a two-storey building where about 60 employees work. It includes flexible workstations and additional meeting spaces.

Gary Hornbacher, president of Doosan Bobcat EMEA, said the move was in part to celebrate the 鈥渋ntegration of the material handling division into Bobcat, which means an important addition to our portfolio of compact machines.

The company said the project involved an investment of 鈧�2 million (US$2.1 million)

South Korea-based Doosan purchased the US-based Bobcat brand in 2007. The rebranded Doosan Bobcat is a subsidiary of HD Hyundai Infracore.
