Texas-based contractor Moss Construction has won a US$182 million deal to renovate Major Leage Soccer (MLS) club FC Dallas Toyota Stadium.

Work on the stadium’s east side is already underway, as one of a number of phases.

FC Dallas and Moss hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the works last week (26 March).

The club will continue hosting MLS matches at Toyota Stadium throughout the renovation.

The east side is scheduled to reopen in summer 2026, as work shifts to the west side.

Work involves building coverings over all seating areas to deliver relief from the Texas sunshine, expanded seating capacity, more concession stands, the largest video board in an MLS-specific venue, and suites for fans at both the east and west entrances. The press box will also be redesigned and relocated to give better sight lines.

The full renovation is due for completion by the first quarter of 2028.

“We are thrilled to be working with Moss on the phased renovation of Toyota Stadium, a project that underscores our dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our fans. Each phase of the renovation has been meticulously planned to ensure minimal disruption to our events while delivering state-of-the-art facilities, said FC Dallas president Dan Hunt.
