Construction Equipment Association announce new CEO
31 March 2025
The Construction Equipment Association (CEA) has announced that Viki Bell will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer from April 2025, following her role as director of operations.
Over the past year, Bell has seen the introduction of new team members, a refined organisational structure, and modernised operational processes across finance, HR, communications, and digital platforms. Key advancements include the launch of a fully integrated CRM system and website, alongside a comprehensive refresh of member materials to improve accessibility and engagement.

In addition to these structural and digital improvements, Bell has overseen a full-scale rebranding of the association. The rebrand has focused on making the organisation more relevant, practical, and effective while maintaining its position as a trusted advocate for the UK鈥檚 construction equipment sector.
Looking ahead, Bell will also play a key role in preparations for the UK鈥檚 hosting of the CECE Congress in 2026. The event will provide a platform for industry leaders to discuss the future of construction equipment across Europe and beyond.
Commenting on her appointment, Bell said, 鈥I am delighted to be taking on the role of CEO. The past year has been exciting 鈥 not only in terms of what we鈥檝e achieved behind the scenes but in the energy and momentum we鈥檝e built.
鈥淭he CEA remains focused on progress and delivering real value to our members and the wider industry. With a strong team, new partnerships, and a clear plan for 2025 and beyond, I鈥檓 looking forward to the challenge.鈥
