W眉rfel has been with Turner & Townsend since 2003 and is said to have extensive experience in the construction industry in Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, and the USA.

In June 2024, the company announced its plan to merge with CBRE鈥檚 project management business by the end of the calendar year.

W眉rfel takes over from Dr. Stefan Reimoser, who served as managing director for Turner & Townsend in Germany and Austria for the last 12 years. Reimoser has now assumed the role of leading business development with a focus on major projects and programs in the local markets.
