Winners were also announced in five regional categories, four height categories, a special global icon award, and a dozen other functional categories at the organisation鈥檚 annual international conference, themed New or Renew: The Density Dilemma, which was held in London and Paris.

Judges said that Pan Pacific Orchard 鈥渟tands out as a beacon of Singapore鈥檚 environmental vision.鈥

The project鈥檚 鈥榟otel in nature鈥 concept transforms the traditional high-rise into a vertical green space, with multiple terraced gardens and water features integrated into the building, achieving a green plot ratio of more than 300%.

鈥淧an Pacific Orchard represents the best in responsible vertical urbanism today,鈥 said CTBUH CEO Javier Quintana de U帽a. 鈥淚t does so by considering the question at the very core of this year鈥檚 conference 鈥 New or Renew? 鈥 from a more encompassing and nuanced perspective: this isn鈥檛 a building refurbishment; it鈥檚 about reimagining entire communities in novel, forward-thinking ways.鈥
