Chinese manufacturer Zoomlion to start MEWP production in Europe with 鈧�100 million factory

Chinese construction equipment manufacturer Zoomlion will invest 鈧�100 million in technology at a new factory in Hungary to start MEWP production in Europe, after it struck a deal to relocate its operations in the country.
Zoomlion has been present in Hungary since 2021 but has now reached an agreement with developer CTP for a 10-year lease on a new site at CTPark Tatab谩nya, to the west of Budapest.
Zoomlion鈥檚 investment will see CTP tailor the 35,000-square-metre TBN5 logistics building to meet the OEM鈥檚 requirements for the production of scissor lifts and boom lifts.
The Chinese manufacturer will also use outdoor areas, new service facilities, and a 20,000-square-metre testing zone.
CTP noted that CTPark Tatab谩nya sits near Hungary鈥檚 M1 highway, connecting the factory to major transit routes linking eastern and western Europe.
