Increases in sales in French conglomerate Bouygues construction and Equans divisions partially offset a sharp fall in its residential division in 2024.

Bouygues full-year sales totalled 56.8 billion, up 1% year on year.

The company, which also has a telecoms division, reported 2024 current operating profit of just over 2.4 billion, up from 2.1 billion in 2023.

Work installing solar farms, data centres, high-tech facilities, and hospitals helped drive a 2% sales in its Equans arm.

Bouygues construction division increased sales 6% year on year thanks to a strong performance in the international building segment.

But its residential development business recorded a sharp fall in sales of 17%,.

The construction businesses, which include Colas, Bouygues Construction, and Bouygues Immobilier, boasted a record order book of 32.2 billion as of the end of 2024, up 13% year on year.

Bouygues said it was targeting a “slight increase in sales and profit in 2025 versus 2024, amid an “uncertain global environment.
