Under these contracts, Cemex will build new solar power plants on the roofs of three locations: Sv. Juraj cement plant in Ka拧tel Su膰urac, Sv. Kajo cement plant in Solin, and the Podsused production facility in Zagreb. The total value of these projects will be over 鈧�5 million, out of which approximately 鈧�3 million will be co-financed by the EU.

The total installed capacity of the solar power plants will be 6.34 MW. At the Sv. Juraj plant, photovoltaic systems with an installed power of 3.79 MW, worth 鈧�3 million, will be added. At the Sv. Kajo plant, photovoltaic systems with an installed power of 2.14 MW, worth 鈧�1.7 million, will be fitted.

Both of these investments will be co-financed by the Modernisation Fund to the amount of 60%. Photovoltaic systems with an installed capacity of 0.41 MW will be set on the Podsused production facility, and 50% of the project鈥檚 value of approximately 鈧�318,000 will be co-financed by European means.
