Cimic Group sub wins US$130 million high-rise contract in India
10 June 2025
Cimic Group company Leighton Asia (based in Hong Kong) has secured a contract worth about A$200 million (US$130 million) to build a ten-tower luxury residential project in Gurugram, India, for developer Elan Group.

Called Elan The Emperor, the new project will feature high-rise towers each rising to 145m, with a total built-up area of roughly 490,000m2.
Australia-based engineering, mining, and construction contractor Cimic Group said the new project targets IGBC LEED Gold certification and includes civil, structural and subcontractor works.
Leighton Asia is already building a nearby eight-tower scheme, Elan The Presidential, for the same client.
Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2025 and finish in 2030.
