The new pavers are: the wheeled paver Super 1803-5 X-Tier; and the Mini Class paver Super 800-5 P-Tier.

Meanwhile, the new MT 3000-5 material feeder is available in both standard and offset versions.

All the machines belong to the Dash 5 family, which focus on user-friendliness, automation, cost-effectiveness and sustainability, according to V枚gele.

Super 1803-5 X paver

V枚gele said the new Super 1803-5 X offers operating widths of between 2.55m and 8.25m when combined with the Dash 5 extending screeds AB 500 and AB 600.

It features the enhanced operating concept, called ErgoPlus 5, which promises a better overview, more storage options, improved ergonomics, and an optional touch display for digital applications, according to V枚gele.

The latest-generation machine also offers the Paver Access Control (PAC) function, to make it easy to switch the Super 1803-5 X on and off from the ground. There is also a Light Package Plus option for night-time construction sites.

Other features available include automatic functions such as Grade Assist for paving roof and transverse pavement profiles, as well as the automatic steering and width control system AutoTrac, or the Smart Pave digital control system.

The machine鈥檚 new 4-cyclinder diesel engine also promises significantly lower fuel consumption.

Appearing for the first time at Bauma is the new-generation Mini Class paver, the Super 800-5 P. In combination with the extending screeds AB 200 and AB 220, it offers operating widths between 0.5m and 3.5m, making it suitable for tight construction sites.

The machine features an optimised material hopper that allows for both hopper walls to be adjusted hydraulically. The hopper walls can also be folded in two to give the operator an unrestricted view to the front, making the paver easier to manoeuvre and load.

The ErgoBasic paver operator鈥檚 console can be moved horizontally, while the angle can be adjusted in four stages and adapted to the height of the operator. The machine also incorporates a display that allows the operator to view the machine鈥檚 operating data for the first time.

Meanwhile a fully integrated Auto Grade Basic system for automated grade and slope control means that screed operators can control the Super 800-5 P by the console in the same way that they would with larger V枚gele pavers.

Both of V枚gele鈥檚 material feeders 鈥� the MT 3000-5 Standard and the MT 3000-5 Offset with swivelling conveyor belt 鈥� have been brought up to Dash 5 standard.

They are also equipped with the new ErgoPlus 5 operating concept, and the optimised PaveDock Assistant truck communication system.

The new Dash 5 control technology means that both can also be integrated into digital solutions from V枚gele in the future.

Both models have a conveying capacity of 1,200 tonnes per hour and can pick up a full load of mix from a lorry within 60 seconds.
