Rokbak says more users are engaging with telematics system
21 November 2024
Use of Rokbak鈥檚 Haul Track standard telematics system is on the rise, the company said, as more customers have been adopting modern technology for today鈥檚 construction site.

Haul Track was first introduced in 2015 as part of the Terex Trucks brand name.
A subsidiary of Sweden-based Volvo Group, Terex Trucks was rebranded as Rokbak in 2021.
The Haul Track system currently comes as standard on the brand鈥檚 RA30 and RA40 articulated dump trucks (ADT).
Garry Moore, a customer support manager for the UK-based manufacturer of ADTs, said more customers were finding machine-monitoring technology like Haul Track to be a necessity.
鈥淢ore and more customers have been engaging with our Haul Track telematics system over the last few years,鈥 Moore said.
鈥淪ome even have full 鈥榗ommand centres鈥 filled with screens as they monitor data from their fleets in real-time.鈥
With tools like Haul Track, project managers can set maintenance parameters for their fleet and receive automated reports and alerts. By staying ahead of key maintenance points and tracking potential machine errors or faults, consistent telematics users can reduce their total cost of ownership over a unit鈥檚 lifespan, Rokbak said.
鈥淸Owners] are able to stay on top of regular maintenance requirements and address minor issues before they can turn into serious and expensive problems. This proactive maintenance approach leads to greater equipment uptime and a longer lifespan,鈥 the company added.
